There will always be unforeseen events that may lead to deactivation, so this policy cannot capture every possible scenario, but the general categories for deactivation would be: bad service quality; fraud; safety hazards and discrimination, to name a few. If you are a Ninja, and your account is temporarily blocked or deactivated, this means that your job allocation and ability to make money are limited and therefore, be aware of your actions.
Clients who use the KeyNinja app expect Ninjas to deliver their keys to guests safely, with the best customer service possible. That being said, the higher the quality of the service, the more opportunities for Ninjas to earn money. The delivery of poor services, on the other hand, have the opposite effect over time, which might potentially lead to termination.
At KeyNinja, there are several aspects that may lead to termination, with the most important factor being:
- Fraud
Fraudulent activity will not be tolerated. We monitor our systems to detect riders who may be acting fraudulently or attempting to game our systems. - Bad services
Ninjas may lose access if they are not able to deliver quality services. - Discrimination
We do not tolerate discrimination on our platform. KeyNinja's mission is to make this platform reliable and safe, everywhere for everyone. - Safety
We take safety-related allegations seriously, that being said, a process aimed at ensuring fairness may lead to account deactivation/suspension as we are investigating a complaint.
Issues that lead to the account being deactivated:
- Zero Tolerance for Drugs & Alcohol
KeyNinja does not tolerate the use of drugs or alcohol by Ninjas while using the platform. - Compliance with Road Rules
Ninjas using the app must comply with all applicable rules of the road at all times. - Accurate Personal Information
The KeyNinja app is designed to give riders identifying information about drivers and their vehicles, like their name, profile picture, vehicle model and licence plate number, before the trip begins. Inaccurate or outdated information creates confusion among riders and can diminish their experience with our platform. - Background Screening
Screening process is required when applying to be a Ninja, which may include driving history and criminal record checks, to ensure safety and compliance with our criteria. - Other Unacceptable Activities
To maintain the transparency and safety of our platforms for all users, activities conducted outside of the monitored system within the app—like anonymous pickups— are prohibited.
